Westside Family Health Center (WFHC) is a nonprofit community clinic dedicated to providing high
quality, low cost healthcare to more than 13,000 women, men and children. Founded in 1974, WFHC is
a Federally Qualified Health Center with 50+ employees and volunteers. We are currently seeking a
licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to join our team, so if you have a passion for healthcare and

Primary Responsibilities

The LCSW is responsible for providing therapeutic mental health services to
patients including high risk/low-income individuals and families. The LCSW is a member of the WFHC
team, taking an active role in providing cost-effective service delivery and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Experience with diverse population.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills desirable.
Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
Ability to convey a positive and professional image while maintaining contact with focus
audience.
Working knowledge of child protection regulations and standards
Working knowledge of social services resources in the Los Angeles area, and related reporting
procedures.
Knowledgeable and respect of all confidentiality issues.
Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to crises, and a working knowledge of crisis
management techniques and suicide intervention.
Bilingual skills in Spanish/English (preferred)

Education Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related discipline, State licensure (LCSW) and several years of experience working in similar positions.
