Primary Responsibilities

Family Nurse Practitioners provide direct medical care to patients in a community health center setting. This includes outpatient general adult medicine. The nurse practitioner is a member of the WFHC team, taking an active role in providing cost-effective service delivery and excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current California license
  • A valid and current DEA Registration
  • A valid and current Furnishing license
  • National Certification is required.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in adult health care setting
  • Computer skills and effective communication skills a must.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
  • Available to work some evening and Saturday clinics and participate in after hours on-call rotation.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Education A master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
